Hey everybody!
I’m sitting here at the airport awaiting my flight from Hong Kong to Taiwan and I figured now would be a good time to catch you up on everything. I was just in Italy where I was excited to see how well the record was doing. In the first week the album had reached gold status and “Right Where You Want Me” just grabbed the number 1 spot on the TRL top 10 countdown! It’s kind of crazy for me knowing that just a few months ago I was in the studio in Los Angeles writing these tunes and now I see people on the other side of the globe singing along. What..s especially mind blowing to me is that in many of the countries I’ve been to so far there is a serious language barrier, yet they still manage to learn all the words to every song on the album. So far on this trip I’ve been in the U.K, France, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Spain and Italy. After Taiwan I’m heading over to Japan and then Australia.

Who was your favorite celebrity when you were a kid?
Will Smith. He was a rapper, an actor; he was funny, he was cool. I looked up to him so much. I finally got to meet him at this year’s Kids’ Choice Awards. A supercool guy.
You grew up in New York. What was your favorite place to visit in Manhattan when you were younger?
Times Square, to see all the lights, especially when I was a little guy. Years later, when I was in the music group Dream Street [2000 to 2002], we shot a music video in Times Square. That’s going to be, when I grow up, one of those cool memories I look back on.

ULTIMATEJESSE.COM celebrates it’s first birthday! Yay - we have been online for over a year now 
I have added screencaptures to Jesse’s “Right Where You Want Me” - High Quality and over 300 screencaps! I was lucky enough to catch reruns of “Total Request Live” so I will be able to screencapture him when he appeared with AFI. I’m hoping to catch him when he was with Vanessa Hudgens and JoJo 
The next single slated on Jesse McCartney’s album is going to be “Blow Your Mind” - this track was supposed to be the first single instead of RWYWM. Can’t wait for the video clip!!
Is anyone intrested in Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus? I’m highly intrested in opening a website dedicated to her really soon and I might be recruiting some staff?

JESSE McCartney tells Cameron Adams about his new album, new movie and that J.Lo rumour.
Your new album, Right Where You Want Me, is quite a departure from your first, Beautiful Soul.
The songs are definitely more mature lyrically and musically. I’m much more proud of this record than the first. I have a bigger connection with this record, personally. I think it’s a good stepping stone for me to do something drastic.
The song Invincible is a fairly graphic tale about drink-driving.
